Fedora 10 codes Cambridge, recently released last few months with additional hot features. Now, Fedora developers are on the go to release the next version of Fedora. Fedora 11 Final Version is estimated complete in May 2009. Meanwhile, Fedora 11 will start its release in February, and the beta version is planned that will present in March 2009. In order to ensure the reliability of Fedora 11 Final Version, there are features that will detail expressed in April before the final version released.

Fedora community will meet each other in the next weekend FUDCon, an informal developer event which performs the technical presentation, hackfest, and meeting plans about the distribution of this open source software. The event also provides an opportunity for Fedora contributor to interact each other to discuss the new version of Fedora.

Furthermore, Fedora developers have approved several items on the list features, including DeviceKit integration and support for multiseat configuration. But developers still do not have the official code name for the Fedora 11. There are some name shortlisted for Fedora 11 include Zampone, Euryalus, Duchess, Blarney, Leonidas, Claypool, Brasilla and Indomitable. And it would be decided only after the voting of Fedora community. The finalized name is scheduled to be announced on 10th January.
