I’m not kidding. This is an actual invention. While probably not the most graceful solution, this does solve the remote problem. Heck, you could really use this for anything: iPods, snacks, pets. And I can imagine myself strapping a Wii-mote to my forehead for some WarioWare. You just slap some velcro onto your devices and ta-da.
The Multimedia Remote Control Wrangler (aka Remote Wrangler) has taken a novel approach to remote control storage that will be sure to take the world by storm, head first. It will certainly win the hearts (and heads) of those frustrated consumers who have had enough and are ready to regain control over their lives and remote controls. No more digging under seat cushions through Cheetos and Fig Newton crumbs searching for the remote you had just 5 minutes ago. All your controls are now only a head scratch away.

The US mint has decided to once again try a $1 coin. 4 new coins, each with a different president, will be released every year.
I’m not too sure this’ll will work, or that it’s even a good idea, but blogger “MG Siegler” made a good point:
[The US Mint] could work with the soda manufacturers to set the price of a vending machine pop to $1. Currently it seems like vending machine drinks range anywhere in price from 50 cents to $1.50…why not split the difference and make them all $1? Imagine how simple it would be if you didn’t need to fumble around in your pocket for change to buy a pop in the machine, or better still, if you didn’t have to keep feeding those awful dollar-bill readers that just won’t accept your crumpled paper money. All you would need to do is insert your dollar coin and out comes the drink.

Some people have already started using their Nintendo Wii to help loose weight, but this is taking it to the next level. These Wii Weights would weigh only 1-4 pounds, but could really turn a few minutes of Wii Boxing into an extreme workout. Although, this is just a concept, so it may never hit stores.

Microsoft’s office assistant has been “left behind” in Windows Office 2007. Office’s group program manager has made it clear to us that the clip is dead. It was fading from the offices ever since 2003 where it was turned off by default. So we say good-bye to Clippy, the best office assistant ever.

The Japanese known making useful robots to do dirty tasks for humans who would rather park it at home, the Yuki-taro autonomous snowplow is another type of machine taking care of the business people can’t. In a joint effort between Niigata-based organizations, the snowbot was made to run by itself and tear through huge amounts of snow to make areas clear. The 900-pound machine has a yellow and black shell, walks about on tracks, and features a wide opening to eat up the fallen snow, compress it into small blocks, and then shoot out from the device’s rear. “We’ve all seen the PC vs Mac ads by Apple, there are plenty of them. But now it’s time for the PC to counterattack, with the help of director Laurie McGuinness, who created four small hilarious clips, with the same character personalities (the PC being older, “boring”, and the Mac being younger and cooler), but this time the Mac doesn’t get the spotlight. What I liked about the clips is that they’re not made in order to harm the Mac, and they don’t deny the qualities portraied in the Mac ads, but they observe the PC’s own qualities, without denying the Mac’s.” Andrei Maguleanu
These ads are very funny, be sure to watch them here.

To the people of New York, the government is ready to get involved and save you from yourselves. Senator Carl Kruger is supposedly set to introduce legislation that would restrict the use of MP3 players, cellphones, and any electronic device while crossing the street in New York City. The supposed ban follows two recent pedestrian deaths in Kruger’s district where one is said to be the result of the victim “listening to his iPod.” We wonder, if police can’t enforce jaywalking laws in NYC, how could they possibly enforce this? Man, this has gotta stink for all the kids walking to school who wanna listen to music or talk on their cellphone…
