YouTube HD Officially Launched

YouTube recently launched a new website section lists the specific content of YouTube in quality high definition (HD), make it easy for users through what are now largest HD video archives on the web. During the last few weeks YouTube has gradually built a large-scale HD video player launching with 16:9 video player and 16:9 HD video features on some particular video. Along with this launching, YouTube also start showing HD movies in a larger screen, using almost full browser’s window without having to switch to full screen mode.

YouTube also released a portal related with News, Music, and Film. Each portal shows YouTube’s most popular video at the moment. The news page shows videos from Google News while the music page monitors popular playlist, track and artist. Meanwhile the Movies Portal Feature is able to offer a variety of film sources such as MGM as well as some indie film. Read the rest of this entry »

Adamo Dell Slim Notebook

Dell will soon release a product that will compete in light and slim notebook market. NY Times said that they found some of the mysterious names like “Adamo” and “Adamo by Dell” on Dell trademark. Why Dell uses the new brand as “Adamo by Dell” and does not unify all the products in only one brand? It seems that this new product prepared by Dell is far different from other Dell products.

It is predicted that Dell will introduce a computer called Adamo to compete MacBook Air. When asked if Dell is preparing a similar product with the MacBook Air, Michael Tatelman, VP marketing Dell said that Dell need to issue some symbolic products to the public. nVidia Ion Brings HD Video to Netbook

If you’re considering buying a netbook, PCWorld advise you to wait a while longer. Imagine a netbook can play a first person shooter game or play a HD video. All this has been possible for realization where nVidia has showed platform “Ion” which combines Intel Atom CPU with nVidia GeForce 9400M is also used in the Apple MacBook 2008 product lines.

Ion platform consists of a Pico ITX motherboard that can load an Atom CPU, GeForce 9400M GPU, an HDMI connector, SATA, USB 2.0 and Ethernet (most netbook just has VGA connector and 2 USB ports). Read the rest of this entry »
