Yahoo Zimbra, Offline Email Access

Email without Internet access can be done with the Yahoo open source software, Zimbra. Zimbra is open source messaging and collaboration unit, which is intended to override all related to Microsoft and Yahoo merger talk. Zimbra can be used for testing offline access, in particular YahooMail, Gmail, and AOL Mail.

Seeing the influence of POP (Post Office Protocol), IMAP, and iCal standard for calendar application, Yahoo Zimbra Desktop Beta 3 is designed to allow users to access their email application, with offline connection option. Zimbra functions as productive application that can help someone work with laptop in his business travel. For example, when in the plane or in places that does not have an Internet connection.
